I was wondering if anyone on here ever tried perming your eyelashes, whether doing it yourself or at a salon. What was it like? Did it work? How long did it last? Is it safe?

I am so pale and blonde, that I have no colour to my eyebrows or eyelashes, and when I can pluck up courage to go and have them dyed (I hate things near my eyes!) I do get them done, and my eyes look nice afterwards, becsue they have some definition. I am so not into make-up, though. I have sensitive skin, and almost anything, including hypo-allergenic stuff itrritates me. Ouch! No! Seems too risky to have any kind of perming solution so close to your eyes, not to mention a bit of a pointless exercise too. That would look hideous! absynthfairy 14-09-2005, 16:10 Umm I did once... I had them permed and dyed - didn't need mascara for a month and didn't hurt or was in the least bit scary! It's not the same solution they use for hair perming and it doesn't make your eyelashes curly - it just has a similar effect to mascara - or using a curlers... I'm not mad or stoopid though... honest. Just a bit vain! :) |
