Went in to this pine shop on Sharrowvale road which has the most gorgeous grey parrot. The proprietor was telling me all about her hsitory - she's been split from her mate and as they're like swans so it must be really hard for her. She's got the most beautiful soulful eyes and it's all emphasised by a magnificent coat of grey feathers.
He's had her for about 7 years when some pub owners, I think over Woodseats way were splitting up and didnt want her anymore.

Awwww man I have a parrot myself. Adore the creatures. I might have to pop along to say hello - don't know any places close to home that have them.

Ahhh - poor girl. I never thought I would be a bird lover, until my son got a ring necked parakeet off the forum. She is a right character, and has us in stiches. She does something new everyday, and is so much fun, apart from the racket she makes!
