Can anyone recommend a good Italian restaurant where you can take your own wine. I live in Dronfield, so south Sheffield would be an advantage.::)help:

Woodseats... forget the name now

It's called Kitos :)

If you take a screw top wine you shouldn't get charged corkage - strange but true!

Tivoli was good value for money and being able to bring your own wine was a plus.

Hi, lived in south sheff all my life, and have some top faves.

Vittorias on Ecclesall road is fab, excellent food, reasonably priced, and is bring your own Sunday to Thursday. If yuo're buying wine through, it's between £12 and £15 a bottle, whcih can tot the bill up.

Another nice place is La Luna on Ecc rd, but further up. Cheap and cheeful, nice food and BYO all the time. There's also BB's in the city centre (south of cc), division street, and I'd say that was along the same lines as La Luna, although perhaps a little better.

I've been to Santino's and Fellicini's, and wasn't overly impressed, and have heard mixed stories really.

Enjoy! :)

We've had this thread so many times on Italian estaurants .. for me its got to be Luna Rossa on Abbeydale Rd (you can bring your own bottle also), with La Gondola in carver st (?) following a close second.

Litle bit out of your way I admit but Buon Deli in Broomhill, very good food, well priced, bring your own or buy the wine they sell retail and drink it there, I don't believe they charge corkage either which is very decent of them! If you're coming in from a distance there's plenty of cheap/free parking close by.
