Hi

I'm looking to book a city centre venue for a private party (50-100 people). I'll want to put bands & a DJ on, so I'm looking for a venue that has an in-house system for bands & DJs, but also that has in-house dj decks (cd decks preferably). I also want to book the place for a Friday or Saturday night, and it needs to have a bar (obviously!)

Anyone got any ideas which venues would suit the above requirements & which ones would actually hire out on a weekend?

I used to run the odd night downstairs at the Casbah, and I guess that sort of size & set-up would be ideal. But that was a long time ago, and I'm not up on what venues have what facilities right now. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Tim

You'll struggle city centre on a Friday / Saturday. Most places I know with these sorts of facilities only rent them out Monday - Wednesday when they are quiet.

Boardwalk may be worth a try.

Everywhere is booked up in December.
