Great advert featuring the old wrinkly Spice Girls. I wonder how much Tesco paid to use their services?

It's superior to their rather lame single, Headlines (and drop the "it's for charidee" garbage, because it is itself, garbage).

The song also borrows strongly from Gary Glitter's I Love You Love Me Love in its melody (a number one in November 1973 which sold in excess of 1,140,000 copies).

So, as someone who doesn't own anything by the Spice Girls, does anybody know where I can buy the advert?:hihi:

£200,000 per spice girl, apparently :o

As for the advert, maybe a video recorder or youtube might be the best option ;) :D

Haven't seen this. I have seen the video to the new single. Lots of 'boobage' going on!

Perhaps they wanted Gary Glitter instead but he wasn't available.:hihi:

The advert is utter rubbish. Apparently they were meant to play Tesco checkout girls but one of them complained about that, so we've ended up with what we're seeing now.

Worse still though, the rubbish advert *is* better than that atrocious "song".

the ad is brilliant, pure genius whoever devised it, we've all done that - seen someone we want to avoid and gone to extreme lengths to avoid them, I can imagine Basil thinking of something like that
