Searching for anyone who shares our name. It seems to be very rare. We're in North Carolina, USA, but good old dad came from England in 1906.

There is a Richard Armswood that played for Sheffield Eagles RLFC between 1993-1996.

I once worked with a girl named Wendy Armswood, but that was about 8 years ago. It's a very unusual name!

Woofer, can you get Richard's address or tell him to contact us?I would like to find out if we are related. My dad came from England in 1906 with his father and we don't know if my grandfather had any brothers or sisters. The only Armswoods in the USA are in our immediate family. We thank you for your help, and greatly apreciate it.

Twinky1, we believe Richard is a rugby player. Is his name in the phone book? If so, what is his address? We have checked with RLFC but got nothing more recent than '96.

Woofer, when you talk to Richard, please ask who Wendy is. Where does Richard work now?

:) Hi, i'm the Richard Armswood you all seem to be talking about and Wendy Armswood is my sister. I also have a daughter, Megan Armswood(4).

I have also tried to look for other Armswood's in the past as my father previously told us we were the only ones left. I'm quite happy for you to email me although i'm not in the phone book.

My father was born in Wales, although his family came from London and this is where he was raised. He did have a sister but unfortunately we lost touch after my father died in 1988.
