Hi,

You can inform your lender of your intention to let the property, you would need to change your buildings insurance to a lettings policy, as a standard policy would be void if a claim was made and the property was rented.

I rent my properties myself, advertise on Forum and in Shffield Telegraph, take references and do the tenancy agreement your self. Always go with your gut feeling, if you are not sure about a prospective tenant dont rent the property to them!!!!

We are also independant financial advisors and mortgage brokers and can arrange lettings cover, and remortgages etc.

If you need any advice re mortgage or insurance our number is 01142 491066

I would advise using a lettings agent as they know what they are doing and can also advise you on the legal side of things.

Can you use proper English in posts please? Forum posts don't have the same character limit as texts so there's no need to use it here.
