I have sent some PMs and received some but |I can only read the ones I have received - it says there are no sent messages in my box - why????

same here , i have tried all ways to track my sent messages.
Yup, I've no 'sent' items. Perhaps Geoff disabled this facility. I think vidster's forum at CBTtechs runs on the same software, but I have 'sent' items there.
And I thought it was just me - doh!
Not that it really matters, but sometimes it would be nice!
When sending a PM, simply tick the box below the message space that says "Save a Copy". By default, this is unchecked and so sent PMs don't get saved. Ticking this box before clicking the send button will mean a copy of the PM is stored in your Sent Items folder.

Newbies, eh - what do we do with them - just kidding (!!) :D
BTW: I only have a couple of PMs saved, and two that I have kept, as someone sent me something informative once.

Just a quick brainwave: I'd like to thank Geoff for introucing the new feature where you are e-mailed the fact that your PM inbox is full.
A member tried to PM me last night, and it went three times to my Yahoo! address - then the member got through after I cleared it down.
Smashing!
