Does anyone have any knowledge/experience with Sky TV adapters?
I'm talking about the sort of thing that allows you to watch sky on a second telly without the need for extra cables etc (I'm rubbish at DIY!) - I think they're called digisenders?
Do they have good pictures?
Any comments good or bad please!
Yep, digisenders they are.
Although I've never used one I've seen a few in action and for watching on a pretty standard TV they're as good as Sky. The pyramid ones seem to work well, or at least they're the ones I see most often.

The picture is fine. I get a bit of interference when the microwave is on for some reason but apart from that it's great. I paid around £60 - £70 for mine about 18 months ago. You just plug it in and go!
Thanks for that, which one do you have James?
I've been looking at the ones for sale in Argos here (http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ArgosBrowseCounts?storeId=10001&languageId=-1&C$cip=21901&Trail=C%24cip%3D21872%3EC%24cip%3D21888%3EC%24cip% 3D21901&categoryId=21901&top=N&langId=-1&catalogId=3151) and this might be a daft question but I'm presuming that I need two boxes?
All I want to do is send pictures from the telly downstairs to the one in the bedroom.
*bump*
anyone? I want to buy some today!

I bought mine from Dixons. They should come in a set of 2. All you need is a spare scart socket in your Sky box and receiving TV then Bobs ya uncle.

Aldi sold a great one a few weeks ago. It came with a Scart splitter so you didn't lose a socket on the back of your Sky box.

That's because digisenders and microwaves use the same frequency.
