:help:I have a small collection of Bowie Knifes made by Fred James around 25 years ago. I am trying to find some interest in them overseas:help: as quite a lot of Fred's Bowie's were sold in the Middle East or in the USA. I am finding it very hard to find the right sort of interest so I have have turned to 'The Forum'. Perhaps they are destined to stay in their home town!!! any interest out there?? I had one of them valued 20 years ago and a price tag of £250.00 was placed upon it .. These are very beautiful and desirable blades!!

An idea that might help,
have a look on the American Ebay to see how the market stands for Bowie Knives.

There are many collectors in the states, maybe one of the forummers who live in the states could put you right.

Good Luck, hope this helps you.

Happy days!

You could always try contacting the British Knife Collectors Guild (http://www.bkcg.co.uk/mainhome.html).

I own 4 beautiful Sheffield made Bowies, but couldn't find the sort of money you would be looking for.

Good Luck.
