Well if (and when) we get the world cup in 2018 it will be a remarkable decade for british sport- one which i hope will spurr on our youngsters so the 2020's and 30's will be even better :D :D :D

Well the Olympics is just a competition to see who's got the best drugs, the Commonwealth doesn't actually exist and golf isn't a proper sport. So unless England gets the 2018 World Cup, there really isn't much to boast about.....

It's good news I'm just really surprised that it was given to a GBR nation as Manchester had 2002. Though when it comes to the Commonwealth Games each nation competes individually so in that aspect in can see the reasoning behind it. I can't say it will be something I'd take a great interest in though, I'd maybe go up there if the rugby sevens are on a weekend. Glasgow is great for a night out so it gives me a good excuse.
