The November issue (http://www.magknits.com/Nov07/patterns/) of Magknits is up. There are a few things there which are nice - the hooded baby blanket is cute (well the baby wrapped up in it definitely is) and I think I quite like the basic black cardi - no sure about the beret or socks yet:D

I like the basic black cardi too, no surprise as I'm knitting a V neck cardi for me at the moment. There's nothing that is making me rush for the needles though, maybe I'll come back to it later.

I like the beret! Not everyone's taste I know but it's very retro!
The baby blanket is very cute too - my sister just had a baby so this would be perfect - better get those needles out quick!

The neck warmer's quite nice. They're much more convenient than a scarf - very snug.
I have a fleece one, the only problem with it is it's quite a tight fit over my head. Now with a stretchier knitted one, that wouldn't be a problem!
If you put a drawstring through the top it can double as a hat too. Marvellous :D
