Oh, from the title thread I thought we were talking animals...

Love it! I used to have a mouse when I was a kid and called him 'Enor' Geddit? ;)

I think this is about your sweetheart or other half rather than pets...!!!!

I used to know a couple in rotherham who used to constantly call each other "Babby"
and to say it sounded common is a gross understatement. I got the impression that it first started out as a joke but had become their regular pet names, it made me cringe.

Dunno mate, we got her from a rescue place ,and she was in such a bad way that the vet told us not to expect her to live for very long. We had her for six year and she was my baby:P I think I would have felt no worse taking one of the kids to be put to sleep than I felt when I had to take her

A mate at work refers to his other as baby. Unfortunately he's from wigan so when he says it it sounds like berbe. Poor woman - if you can't say it - don't!!:suspect:

Got a cat called Colin. Last pet they'll let ME name in our house!

I think Double Gloucester would be a pretty cheesey name though.

I have a female cat called Dougal! We thought she was a boy when we first got her, we then got a boy cat called Ted. Yeah, we really like Father Ted! Dougal gets called Princess or darling girl most of the time though! Yep very sad.
