I'm looking for a decent restaurant for a birthday celebration that would be suitable for children (aged 9 and 12). Most restaurants that are suitable tend to just serve the 'frozen and warmed up' line in food and I'm after something a bit nicer than that - but clearly fine dining isn't suitable. I guess I'm looking for something in between - any suggestions?

If its early evening, pizza express and Ask are both very child friendly.

La Vida Loca in Hillsborough is great with families. Good Food

Doesn't the Walnut Club, have a kids menu? That might be worth checking out.
