So many re-homing threads I thought that it would be nice to know if they really work out, especially as rescues sometimes use the forum to re-home their animals.
So did you find your new pet here? and was it a rescue animal? have things worked out well with the new pet? :)

The Molly monster came to me courtesy of xxhunniixx. She's still got a lot to learn and occasionally struggles because of her lack of socialising as a puppy, but then nobody can change what's already done, can they?

That blooming xxhunniixx, she has a lot to answer for! We have a wonderful big daft red n white Wegie cat (Charlie) and a weather loach + fish tank c/o her 'waifs n strays', plus 2 fancy goldfish from Lotti21 -oh and 2 gerbils from a breeder (dcgerbs), who posts on the forum too!

...and then there's the small matter of the 3 wegie kittens that the lovely Charlie helped our other wegie girl to produce...

Wow! Hasn't he grown? I remember him when he was tiny.

It's Lapis Lazuli by the way- like the glorious stone.

I got Mushroom the cat via SF classifieds to add to our ever increasing menagerie. She was being sold at just 7weeks old with her sister Lulu, who went to live with my sister down the road. I think I got the better deal as Lulu is :loopy:

We re-homed Ruby the terrrier (10 months old) from someone who was moving and desperately needed to re-home 2 dogs about 9 months ago. She was advertised in th pets forum.

We had her for 2 months helped her learn alot of new things so that she could go and live with my sister in law and her family. She has thrived and has a life most of us would love i.e. huge house in the country with wonderful exciting dogs walks everywhere including the twice daily 2 mile walk to school :hihi:
The best things is although we were not the right home for her and had to let her go ( was so hard ) I will always know how she is and am able to see her every few months :)
