Hi
Does anyone know of anywhere that sells reasonably inexpensive Mountain bike parts!
E.g. a cassette that is equal to the Shimano HG70
a middle chain ring!
I can't remember the tooth numbers for both.
I would like Shimano goods, as the bike is of good quality & other stuff on it needs to be compatible.
Thanks
Rom
Hello there, A good shop is tony butterworth cycles in hillsborough. they're very knowledgable and stock almost all replacement parts required for just about any job. And always a very friendly attitude. =:)
Well said kippy,couldn't agree more..
I always go there, excellent service, and the staff know there stuff

Yes Butterworths is ok, the one on Abbeydale rd is cheaper, but the parts are crap there, the Hillsborough one is expensive for parts, i'm lookin for trade prices, i don't wanna pay 20 quid for a 8speed cassette or a 10er for a middle ring, i'm looking TRADE prices man.

Well all I can say to that is to me the quality of service is far better than buying parts mail order (etc) where you dont get any after sales service. I've tried loads of places in the past and none are a patch on the personel service i now get at butties in hillsborough. I think you should maybe open your own shop if you want those sort of prices.
Cheers all
I'll give em a call & see what their prices are! Is it me or do any of you think J.E. James has bad service!
Rom
yep,you said it,with butties it's the personnal touch!
enjoy your cycling.
