Hi,

You need a furminator type brush. Gemima recommended one to us and they are great. cost us over £30 but it is well worth the money!

A slicker brush is good.

A coat king is good if the dog has thick coat. It removes all dead hair and saves all the mess.

I use one on all mine, and when I've done looks like I've got another dog, I think you can get them on Ebay.

I have long haired dogs and I use a shed 'n blade to get all the dead hair out before brushing with a slicker first with the grain then against the grain :)
