I have got 5 horses who are Barefoot. Does anyone have any recommendations on farriers? Need one who is very calm, quiet and sympathetic as mine are a varied lot!

Hi, do you mean Barefoot with a capital "B" as in KC or another school of thought, or just unshod with a pasture trim? I can get you contact details for actual barefoot trimmers, but don't know any farriers that way out that would take on trimming work and that I would recommend.

Hi Bethie, I know some Barefoot trimmers in Tankersley. I am looking for someone who can do / have the patience for a 17 month old and a 24yr old and everyone else inbetween. But not someone Who Knows Best and will not discuss a prob or get offended if I ask a reasonable question. Unfortunately been there and a bit nervous of farriers which is why I am looking for referrals. Help??? :)

I would try the forums on this website, where you will find lots of info on barefoot trimmers and recommended farriers who use compassionate handling. If you put a thread on there you are sure to get some recommendations.
