My dad said to me "I dare you to join SF. But be warned, if you express an opinion that goes against the majority, then that opinion will not be respected one iota - the place is full of idiots"

So I did. I love it

The only dare I haven't done so far is skydive, but the opportunity may come around soon in a sponsored one later this year. the last one was to abseil off a hotel, again a sponsored thing. I did it along with some forum members:thumbsup:

Had my first tattoo done as a dare (even though I had it planned for ages it was still worth wiping the smug look of their face :hihi: )

Best dare was the cliff jump up in the Lake District. Id love to that again. Geronimooooooooooooooooo

As long as there is only a slim chance to physical harm I'm prepared to accept dares, usually childish ones though.
1. In a french restaurant, who's going to eat the first snail?
2' Could I skip down Fargate on a saturfday afternoon holding hands with another leather clad biker?
3.Would I jump into my g/f's swimming pool fully clothed.... that was a mistake I'm sure her mother took an instant dislike to me
4. Walk in a graveyard late at night?......easy peasy
5. Ask a certain girl out?.....absolutely terrifying

Thats dead funny!

My last dare was to slide down a steep metal banister whilst at work.

Landed badly and could barely walk for 4 weeks.

Took 12 months to fully heal.

They were meant to follow, they bottled........

One of my favourites was playing fight club with a coup[le of mates.

We all got hurt that time!

I used to eat a dim sum tripe dish on Sundays in Birmingham.

Could not imagine any other way of eating it though.

I dare you to try it!

now thats always struck me as a very painful thing to do and always wondered why people do it, so the questions are

was it very painful and how long after did it hurt like hell everytime it was touched?

why did you have it done, does it increase the sensitiviity of it during certain activities?

Having it pierced was not as bad as I had expected - I think the shock of the noise of the piercing gun was the worse thing and afterwards, when the piercer had to try and fiddle about to get the bar in place. They do numb it though so you just feel a lot of pressure rather than pain. It was sore for about a week but mine healed really quickly - I was very good at looking after it :) I had it done because I like tattoos and piercings anyway, and I like the fact that to look at me, no one would ever think that I would be the sort of person to have a tattoo or any piercings at all. As for the sensitivity thing, yes it does make it more sensitive, but that wasn't my reason for having it done :D

Blue Banana in Doncaster. Actually it might have been a hollow needle for my nipple.... errr... I actually can't remember. :D My memory is soooo bad! :P Maybe its one of those things where the actual memory is so traumatising you blank it out :D Highly recommend Blue 'Nana tho - Paul the tattootist (sp?) there is a top bloke.

The reason I asked is that I expected a kind of gun thing when I had my nipple done, and I was a bit scared when this giant knitting needle (it looked that big) thing was produced to make the hole.

Might have, I had my eyes shut from the moment I saw the needle.
