How do I import an Excel file with data in to a Word file. I want to swivel it round so the content which is very wide on the longer side is on the longer edge of an A4 page. I've tried importing it using the insert file feature in word which has generated a whole load of gobbledygook.

Open Word document.
Make pages (that you want spreadsheet in) Landscape.
Open Excel spreadsheet.
Set 'Page Setup' to same paper size/margins/orientation as the Word document.
You will see the dotted lines on the spreadsheet which will indicated the pagination.
If necessary, adjust Column Width/Row Height/Font Size to get stuff fitting into the pages.
Select and Copy a page from the spreadsheet.
Paste into the Word document.
Repeat as necessary.


Other ways are possible, but the above is basic and works.
