Hi there - does anyone know a company / bloke who can do this for us? We have a new tv and we want someone who knows the best cables to use/best way to hook up a DVD recorder, Sky, Sound system and Nintendo to it.
I know there are companies out there who do this but can anyone recommend someone??
Thanks!
what tv have you got?what sound system? budget?
as when you say best as you can pay £100+ p/m for speaker cable alone.
i'll do it for a tenner (plus cost of any leads that need to be bought)

OK, we weren't quite thinking of £100pm (!) and we don't really need speaker cable, its more all the Scarts etc. We have HDMI cable for the sound system (which is great) but we've obviousley done something wrong as sometimes the sound that comes out isn't in sync with the lips on the screen(!) plus various other 'tinkering' problems.......
its unlikely to be the cable causing the audio sync problems, more likely your sky box, the broadcast/dvd, or your tv. changing to standard analogue audio leads may or may not fix it. another hdmi cable wont.
cables are cables, you could pay £100/m for them, but you'd have to be an idiot.
theres a thread here (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=766210) with people having similar problems with lg tvs. seems to be a fairly common problem with hdmi & im not sure if theres an easy solution.
Thanks for your advice Ken. I will check out that thread.
Another 'tinkering' problem is that sometimes the Sky remote won't work properly.
Why on earth why I haven't got a clue. It goes 'up' the channel listings but not 'down' and it won't receive numbers being typed in individually - as I said this is only sometimes. We've changed the batteries and it's not them - it's just been since we got the new 'set up'.
Sky boxes frequently hang/dont work as expected/tv guide goes missing etc etc. First step is to reset the sky box (put in standby pull out power lead wait 10-15 seconds plug back in).
