All because I put my hand through a glass lampshade. Didn't even get any remarkable laceration/scarring from it. Still trying to work out whether that's a good thing. It would give me something to discuss down the pub...

If u have had a broken lampshade in the last three years and it wasnt your fault then u may be able to make a no win no fee compensation claim - have u slept ok since the incident ?- r u suffering from post traumatic light fitting syndrome or having recurring dreams about closed stores underwater ? -

contact sue the b*strds dot com to see if u have a claim against the shade manufacturer for producing inferior produce which doesnt lasscerate when smashed. How long have B and Q been causing u to be shadeless ? - Do u have non lasceration cover on ur house policy ? How long were u thinking of taking off work had the lasceration occured ?
