895MB ATI Radeon HD2400 Graphics


i was wondering if this laptop was any good. TOSHIBA P200-17C. i am wanting to play world of warcraft. the graphics card is 128MB
(895MB ATI Radeon HD2400 Graphics) does anybody know if this laptop would be up to the quality for these games.

The HD2400 is ATI bottom of the barrel graphics processor, and as the mobile versions are usually stripped down, I can't see it bowling you over with quality!

The 895mb is also a bit misleading. The first 128mb is on the card, whereas the remaining 767mb will be taken from system memory as required.

It's not a gaming laptop by any stretch, as the processor is also a little on the weak side. I wouldn't invest in this to play games on at all.

this laptop will be fine for World Of Warcraft, My laptop has a Radeon XPress 200m (Which isnt even 1/2 of the HD2400) and it plays WoW, Half Life 2 / TF2, EvE Online, UT2004 fine.. so you wont struggle with that laptop..

it is true that the HD2400 is a low-end card, but for WoW it will be fine....
