Hi
My choc lab has had some initial treatment for suspected early OCD in her front legs, she seems to be fine at the moment but we (and the vets) would like to get her x-ray'd to double check.
When checking with the insurance policy it turns out that it has a 14 day exclusion period at the start of it. We noticed the limping on the 15th day of the policy (sunday) and took her to the vets the next day (monday). The vets notes mentions the condition may have been present for 3-5 days - so within this exclusion period.
Are the insurers likely to reject the claim for treatment ? Stupid thing is if I'd just extended her original Kennel Club insurance there wouldn't have been an issue.
Thanks
