Does anyone remember fishing in Sam Amos's fishpond in the Loxley valley?

It is such a long time ago I vaguely remember where it was situated.

What I do remember is the good times we had there as kids.

I remember Sam Hamer's pond....it was on the left just as you go over the bridge at the bottom of Rural Lane, before you get to Spout Lane.

It was rented by SYPTE fishing club and Sam tried to increase the rent. They refused to pay, so he filled it in (maybe 10 years ago now).

Thanks for the info,I have passed that spot many times since I.ve been here and wasn't too sure if it was the spot.

Also I got the name wrong but the memories of fishing there, are still with me.

Did anyone else on the forum fish there?
