I love making my own stocks.
Ive had problems buying beef marrow bones since the BSE thing. No sodding butchers will sell them to me.

Ive looked at the health guidelines and now its legal to sell beef on the bone as well as bones too.

So

Which butchers in Sheffield will definitely sell or pref give away beef bones?

Any recs warmly received.

Sold as "dog bones" by many butchers but definitely in Castle Market. 50p each.

One of the butchers in Woodseats used to give my dog some too!

Morrisons now sell oxtail again If that is any use to you.A lot more expensive than they used to be though.
