Same chavvy crowd now looking more uncomfortable in their new surroundings

Instead of sticky carpets at the bar - sticky tiles wahhhay !

I don't see the point in changing it into a Lloyds bar, now you have to put up with music and plasma screens that will probably get knicked anyway. As you say it will be the same crowd with a few more that are mesmorised by the tv's.

yeah i never saw the point of changing it into a lloyds either. I guess they did it to try and get younger peoplein there but i think its just in the wrong location to try and draw that crowd. It should have stuck to getting money out of the oap's.

Its just been on the news that weatherspoons are to ban smoking in their pubs by next year.That should clear out the place.

I went to the bankers...........walked straight through and into the Dove and Rainbow.

That's why they refurbished it. It's so much nicer to walk through than the walkway next to it so you can go that way as it's quicker when you go to the Dove and Rainbow.
