Our dog, Mishka, slipped her collar and ran away this morning from our house on Murray road in Greystones.
I thought she would run straight to Endcliffe Park, but we've searched for hours and can't find her.

She's a Japanese Akita. Don't panic. She's very friendly towards people, especially kiddies. I'm not promising perfect behaviour towards other dogs though. But in General she is a loving and friendly animal.

She's Pinto coloured, which is a bit like an alsation. White chest, black/grey fur, black ears and a curly tail over her back.

My daughter and I are very worried about her and I'm especially anxious about road accidents etc.

Please put the word around if you are in these areas:-

Endcliffe Park, Ecclesall Road, Greystones, Banner Cross, High Storrs, Bingham Park etc.

If you've seen her or know where she might be, please call the police on 01142 964614.

Hope you find her soon.
Might also be worth trying the local police station (Broomhill) at Crewe Flats on 0114 2964876, just to make them aware and to keep an eye out.

Found her! Well, the police did anyway. Hiding in a garden 5 minutes away. Missing for 7 hours I thought she'd be in Hathersage or something.

Thanks for the Broomhill number. The general Police helpdesk put me thru to Woodseats which I thought was a bit far away.
