Many people move into a new house and hate their driveway, if you could choose what type would you have installed?.
i have slabs and would like to replace them with resin bonded aggregate-easy to maintain and anti slip
Block paving every time. Looks really good and if done right stands the test of time.

I would have the resin bonded aggregate you mentioned, my next choice would be good old tarmac. Block paving doesn't work on all houses IMO as the bricks jar against the often different bricks used to build the house. The effect can be a bit busy.

Definitely block paving as it allows rainwater to soak away unlike concrete or tarmac. Weeds can be a nuisance but if you apply a water soluble weedkiller, it lasts well over a year.

You can get different coloured blocks.

The shape and texture differ too much from the re-constituted stone our house is constructed from. I also prefer a smooth seamless finish that you get with the aggregate or tarmac.
