Noticed The Shapla has been given a makeover. Anyone been yet? is it still nice and intimate or has te ambience changed?

is the menu/food still the same?

its not open yet is it? or if it is it inly opened in the last couple of days

I was told it opened last week. I've seen it from the outside and it looked complete.

I didn't think it was open yet, either.

I think chap and I are planning to go there and give it a try before much longer.

Been 3 times since it opened last week!

Food exactly the same, very good. Though prices up 50-75p. i think my curry now £7.25 before rice etc but worth it as it is best I have had. Very modern and ask for a booth as they are most comfortable looking, a lot brighter than before too. Aswell as a bigger bar and a small waiting area.
