Thanks for all the welcoming messages. I've been reading Forum for ages but just couldn't register. I've been coming to the meetings for a while and I was there last Wednesday eve - nice to see some more new faces there.

How dare those babies try to be born when there is forum posting to be doing! You'd think the women could at least keep their legs crossed for 5 minutes til Julie's able to do a post :)

You lot could never be boring, it's these women here with babies! :rant: I couldn't get even 5 min to post, nevermind eat - or even knit, more importantly! - my last few shifts. Most inconsiderate! :D

I've hardly knitted at all since Monday & what I did knit I ripped back!:( Now having severe withdrawl!!

Shiphrah pronounced Shiff-rah, by the way. She was a Hebrew midwife written about in the Old Testament (she'd have been a knitter, given the chance, too, I'm sure:D).
