On further inspection i have found out its been removed full stop.Has the man himself complained,should i expect a letter in the post :suspect:

mate- it think its totaly understandable in the circumstances, some of those comments could have been slanderous so they removed it for peoples safety.

i don't personally give two hoots - but the owner of the site might.
if people wish to make potentially libellous or litigious statements (of opinion) please feel free to do so, including your full name and address and send them to the Sheffield Star for publication or not.

I'm going to hold my hands up.

After I'd posted on the thread with some scathing criticism of said man, I reviewed what I'd written and thought I'd better take it off and so I edited my posts. Unfortunately by that time some people had quoted me, and you can't take those off.

So I asked for all references to my comments to be removed, and I guess the mods thought it would be easier and safer to remove the whole lot.

Sorry to everyone for any hassle I caused.

as we now have a full and complete explanation of the complexities, i'll close this post if that's ok
