An hours Queue :shakes: Another Chav Point for Rich there  You're obsessed man! drainpipe 23-01-2005, 09:50 wot iz a"chav"? Rich 23-01-2005, 13:07 Originally posted by drainpipe wot iz a"chav"? If it hadn't already escaped your attention, NOT everyone who shops at Argos is a chav. LIke me for instance, I am ordering a nice (not cheap) bed from Argos - does that make me a chav ...? Me thinks not. saxon51 23-01-2005, 14:29 Originally posted by NicoleM If it hadn't already escaped your attention, NOT everyone who shops at Argos is a chav. LIke me for instance, I am ordering a nice (not cheap) bed from Argos - does that make me a chav ...? Me thinks not. Your post makes sense, and is legible, so therefore you are definitely not a chav. On my frequent trips to Argos I don't think I have ever seen a person answering the description of a 'chav' buying anything. They all seem to be middle aged, or families with well behaved kids. Rich 23-01-2005, 14:32 No offence intended by my postings. Apologies if anyone has been offended  NicoleM 23-01-2005, 14:35 Originally posted by Rich No offence intended by my postings. Me? :loopy: :heyhey: karl101 23-01-2005, 15:35 Outstanding. They had the Lord Mayor open the Argos. Didn't he have anything on that day. Or have Netto been disappointed? Argos, now conveniently located closer to their customers. Anyway, its an oldie, put the word 'chav' into the argos catalogue search and see what you get... http://www.argos.co.uk Rich 23-01-2005, 15:38 Here (http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=3151&langId=-1&searchTerms=chav&go.x=0&go.y=0) are the results for the word "chav" from www.argos.co.uk. Note the amount of results for jewelry. yorkiepudd 23-01-2005, 15:57 Getting the thread back on topic, personally I think it is great we have (eventually) got an Argos at this side of town. No more trudging round Focus to find they haven'nt got what you want, then down to Wilkinsons (if you can find anywhere to park atm) and standing in their mile-long queues. Far easier to look on the website, reserve it, and nip down to pick it up. It will be fine when the newness of the site and staff has worn off. D2J 23-01-2005, 16:04 Rich, I do apologise mate but must you contaminate every thread you read with your pathetic little digs at Chavs ? Cos to be honest your making yourself a bigger prat everytime you do! The original point of the thread was to ask how busy Argos was  I shall probably get nailed by the mods for saying this but it's getting on my nerves now! Im sure I ain't the only one! |
