Hi,
I’m trying to set up an acoustic 3-piece band, and I’m looking for a lead singer. There’s currently just the two of us that play acoustic guitar, bass and sometimes piano. As both of us are also in other bands I’m afraid it would just be a pretty informal thing and we’d really just be playing covers so if you’re really keen to write your own stuff… this might not be for you. There’s probably not gonna be much money in it either as most of the gigs would pay very little, if at all. But if you just like to sing, and you like open mic nights then this might be perfect!
We’re pretty flexible on music, but would probably play fairly easy listening stuff from Nina Simone to Dylan, with some modern stuff (like Hey Ya by Outkast!) thrown in for good measure!
We want it to be fun so we’d prefer no big egos. I’m 31… but age, looks, etc are really not important.
I’ve got a couple of gigs lined up already, but I can always postpone them if we need to.
Cheers,
Jon
