The best thing to do is ignore them. If you want a more accurate comparison of international teams then check out the latest odds (http://www.oddschecker.com/football/internationals/world-cup/win-market) for the World Cup. At least bookmakers have a financial interest in getting them half-accurate. Not really becuase they are based on recent performances in tournaments and friendlies. Croatia, Czech Republic, Brazil, Argentina, Holland, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain and Portugal are all undoubtedly better teams at this time. EDIT: I compiled the above list without looking at the rankings and apart from Russia, they're all above us so I wouldn't say the rankings are far off at all. paris_tgirl 04-09-2008, 20:18 I can't see us qualifying for the World Cup.
