Does anybody have any information about Carr Vale (just outside Bolsover)?
Is it a nice area or is it "horrid"?

That's right steevie, but it gets a lot of bad press these days.

ooooo I wouldn't recommend "The Vale" to be honest. I am from Bolsover (new development, nice houses, thanks!) and Carr Vale (and the Model) are well known rough areas.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Thanks for the info. We have heard about a new business park and new M1 junction that is being built near there and thought that this might have a positive impact on the area within the next few years.

i live not far away from "the vale" (in a new house) n i wouldnt reccomend living ther unless u were desperate for a house ther are quite a few druggies n drunks living down there the modle and the wimps arent good areas in boza but the rest of the town is fine!!

I'm from bolsover, and sorry it's much of what you've heard already. Carr Vale is a god awful place to live.

Avoid CarVale. It is really bad! I live in Bolsover as well.... not good. Sorry:gag:
