We just booked a little cottage near Kings Lynn. Cant wait!

We wanted to go to Benidorm or Majorca again but we've just bought our new house and its nicking all our free cash at the moment.

Going to Montreal in July for two weeks to see the internationl Jazz festival. It's already booked and paid for but the good thing for me is I have a friend living there so I don't need a hotel.

Think we might be going to Whitby towards the End of September, nothing definate yet tho, first holiday in probably 5-6 years!

Probably the Isle of Wight (AGAIN!) if 'er indoors gets her way

But we went to Scotland last Aug to a wedding...

Fell in love with the place immediately - I'd gladly go back there!

I know how that feels, until the other year I hadn't been away for 7 years. Anywhere you can get is a welcome break, but I have never been to Whitby and I keep meaning to go sometime.

Whitby is a nice place, been a couple of times for weekend breaks and to meet friends..

The best holiday is the one I had in the Lake District, adventure holiday :clap: I love it up there! In fact I might go there instead of Benidorm :huh:

Ah Whitby - reminds me of a southern mate who's old uni friend was having a stag weekend and wanted ideas where to go. Someone suggested Whitley Bay, loads of cheap women, boozers etc.

So off they went.

When asked on the Monday how the weekend went we were greeted with something along the lines of "thanks very much for the worst weekend ever"

Yup, you guessed it - they'd spent the weekend in Whitby Bay!!!

Anyway we're off to St Ives for 2 weeks in August. Bored of the overseas lark and fancy some homegrown entertainment.
