Whats happened on Halifax Rd near the school,there's a burnt out caravan and some flowers tied to the railings near it.Has somebody been burnt to death in the caravan or something.

Isn't it the caravan used by the protesters on guard against the phone mast firm? Who knows what?

yeh theres also some mock gravestones up near chaucer on the corner. i dont think its serious its just the protesters. i think... well i hope it is ...

As I live near there, I know that it's where the people against the proposed mast do their bit to stop the firm from putting the mast up within the school grounds.

As far as I am away, the caravan belongs to an old school friend of mine, but I don't think anyone got hurt. I am not sure if it was protestors or just kids messing around.

The caravan had nothing to do with the flowers a few years ago when my son went to that school one of his friends was killed on the road by a lorry... They have been putting flowers on there ever since in his memory....

Teffey, will your friend be moving the burnt out caravan because it does look a bit of an eyestore and he could be prosecuted for littering the enviroment.

I passed this morning, and as far as I am aware, it's gone, it's been removed.
