There should be "who are they" option.

Or the 'i'm fed up of hearing about them' option

But yes I am happy they have split like my pants after a christmas dinner. However I hope they do not end up on all these crappy reality TV shows now or try to start a single career:gag:

Any chance of sticking another option titled: I'd rather stick needles in my eyes then listen to Busted.

No chance of having it as the first dance then, eh?

Hmm I think Mel is a big fan of them. In fact, I know she is.

Actually, is it the same Mel that watched the DVD 3 times on christmas day alone???

Have they?

Without this thread I dare say I would have lived the rest of my days never knowing that.

Poor old Busted.

1) Is there a reason that the poll is written badly?

2) No, IMO, I listen to do decent bands or musicians- such as: The Strokes, Coldplay, The Music, Green Day, Opeth, Radiohead, Sleeper, The Barenaked Ladies, Jack Johnson and Paul Weller.

The poll is not written badly if you are only 12.

It's a message board, not an English exam.

Can you understand what is written? If so, then why complain.

As another has mentioned in a previous post, it's a pity that there wasn't an "oh, who cares?" option,

I am about as devastated about busted (Who?) and their split, as I was about, say, the Bay City Rollers, Slik, take that, bros, the spice girls... s club"-however-many-were-left-in-the-band-this-week"... or perm any eight from ten bands that had a hit or two, and then went their seperate ways.

Bands break up.

It's a fact of life. a group of actors will come together to appear in a play. then they will go their seperate ways to appear in other plays or tv programmes.

No-one throws a wobbly about that...

No one considers throwing themselves into the canal, because Sir lawrence Olivier, and sir Richard Attenborough went and made a film with, say oliver tobias, but then in their next film acted with sir Ralph Richardson.... did we ever hear anyone sobbing because the hypothetical film in question starred one actor over another...

I thought it was completely ridiculous that there had to be counselling for the weenyboppers who were "suicidal" at the break up of their "favourite-group-in-the-world, ever, ever, ever (TM) this -month"

Bands split... frequently ... get over it

If you don't care about it then ignore this thread and don't waste the valuable minutes of your life replying to it!

I like 'proper' music, but Busted were entertaining to watch on the telly, and I know the words to some of their songs, and I don't care! They were cool in their own little way, and I'd rather a younger relative listen to them than some horrible personalityless band like Phixx, or whatever they are called.

At the risk of offending loads of Busted Fans, I always thought that Charlie came across as a bit of an arrogant pratt, really.

And, please everyone, give the girl a break who started this. For some girls, and even boys, loving a boyband is like having your first crush, and it can feel like your heart is breaking when they split up. Alot of girls have been there, so go easy...

When I first saw this thread I thought it was about a great busted (a bird) and took me a while to realise it was about a pop group [probably]. Never heard of them.

LOL.

Didn't one leave to focus attention on his "proper" band?

Strikes me that you should be paying attention to your lessons rather than singing pop songs, then you might be able to make yourself understood when you write.
I bet you sound like Vicki Pollard from Little Britain when you speak, after reading that. "Yeah but no but......."

Maybe this excessive television watching is having a severe effect on your ability to communicate. Anyway good luck with the future. Hopefully you can find something more useful to do now. Can I recommend the musical catalogue of the Bonzo Dog Band. Very amusing as well as tuneful..

If you read my original post again, you will realise that there is a cerain irony to it. Hence, the fact that I may know Mel in some way or another.

It wasn't a slating on her music tastes at all.
