Where was Ratner’s Bar? Legend Jeff Buckley (http://www.jeffbuckley.com/rfuller/buckley/words/tributes/itsneverover.html) played his first European gig there on March 11, 1994 and I've never heard the place mentioned in the 6 years I've lived in Sheffield.

The Ratners Rest was in Globe works on Penistone Road and used to have live gigs around that time (as it was owned by the leadmill)

I remember that place. My friend was one of the first managers there. I remember it had a huge roaring fire.

Its no legend, I was there.
