At the risk of sounding a little sad, I love it.
Have even made a virtual me, and my friends. Obviously, though, I have the best house. :D

no Miss I have the best house rofl ... I've murdered people, had many lovers, caused fights, my babies have been taken away by that miserable old social worker and i've been such a bad parent most of my remaining kids have been forced to join the military ... I am a bad person ... but i have the secret of untold wealth and i give fabulous parties....:D
do you know if you want to dispose of someone easily ... make them go swimming and then take the ladder away ... (laughs evilly)

Enough about you Ruby, tell us about the sims :D
Gonna watch myself in the chat in future, she might take -my- ladder away *fear* :o
The sims is addictive! Too addictive!
I have a whole neighbourhood of people who are all in love with one another. Makes for some very good catfights!

Murdered people, Rube??!!
Other than taking the ladder away in the pool, how do you do that?
And by the way, I have the best house. Yours is merely a public toilet in comparision... :P
rubydazzler 22-01-2005, 16:36 did I say "muderered" (looks innocent) of course i didn't mean my Sims person actually did the deed with her own tiny hands ... but allowing people to cook without proper training, or accidentally walling up a door - well all these things can lead to the ickle "Death of Rats" person arriving with his tiny scythe ... but she never meant any evil to befall anyone ... she was new to the game herself ... :O
My fave house was the maze I built out of privat. I put the toliet and cooker as far away from each other as possible. The sim got fired cos they couldn't get out to the car in time, wet themselves and eventually the cooker set fire to the privat hedge and the sim karked it.
Cheered me up no end after a bad day.
We also built a public toilet and installed 2 'working girls' in there.....
Not as addictive as Lemmings which I've now been hooked on for 12 years!!!!!! . . oh . .and Monkey Island.
Play, Replay, then start again!:o :loopy:
I'm fascinated by it's success.
Sims is actually the game version of an industrial software package used to control the process in a factory. It was released as a game because it was the cheapest, easiest and most effective way to thoroughly test it before it was released to industry.
Sorry. Boring fact over. :D

Monkey Island... Mavellous game!
I had Return to Monkey Island on the Amiga 500 and the game had some 10 disks...
"I am rubber, you are glue!"
Guybrush Threepwood - a modern hero.
Lickable 23-01-2005, 10:04 You had The secret of monkey island 2 - Le chucks revenge.
Return to monkey island was never on the Amiga.
And yes... i am a geek
I'll buy it when it comes down in price!
35 quid! No thanks!
I bought it last year from Meadowhall, played it twice and didn't really like it.
Unfortunately GAME don't do 10 day returns on PC games though for obvious reasons so I'm stuck with it till I can flog it on Ebay or summat.
Why not sell it on here?
How much would you want for it?
Hmm, let me think...
It's yours for 20 notes.
I'll PM you my mobile number and address details etc.

Ah ha, you are indeed correct. That was, erm.... a deliberate test. Well done! You pass with flying colours.
I got a few years ago, Escape from Monkey Island for the PC... Not a patch on the original Monkey Island, and Monkey Island 2... It's lost all it's charm.
Was Stan, he of the flailing arms, the used ship salesman in the first or second one?
Excellent twist at the end tho - LeChuck being Guybrushes brother. Cheesy! :D
