The Dodgems, another Sheffield band, received a recommendation in the Guardian today. Have you heard it? What do you think? Just given it a play on myspace. It is very, very good.

Will this be the one which breaks them? Nick O Malley from the Arctic Monkeys used to be in this band, some years ago.

A mate from school is in the dodgems on keyboard, with his big bro on lead vocals. They actually aren't that bad, quite a unique vibe. Loud as loud can be too.

That will be Tommy. His brother Phil is in them too. Know them from 6th form college. They have been working on their music for years; hope they break it soon as they have had a few false starts. The tour this autumn will be fab publicity.
