I'm shocked!

On a book tour of the US JK Rowling has told an audience that Dumbledore was gay.

I'm stunned. It never occured to me to even think about his sexuality. Am I just hopelessly naive?

Hmm, shame she never bothered to mention it in her books. TBH it strikes of a publicity stunt to me.

I think it is a publicity stunt meaks. Especially to annoy the American bible belt. She's made her money now she can say whatever she wants.

She could be regretting not having a publically gay character now she has drawn breath after finishing the harry potter stuff and having time to think who knows?
The other thing is, why would his sexuality have any bearing on the story or writing. He was a remote and very busy headmaster.

The whole franchise is gay.
