Spending time in the remote Islands of Scotland where mobile phones dont work, and the chance of an internet connection is sparce. I have found a feeling of satisfaction which takes me back to peace.
Dont get me wrong the Internet is a great invention and allows us to comunicate with the rest of the world, but sometimes isolation is a great thing.
Anyone agree

We survived pretty well, though the internet has allowed access to shops, texts, music, art etc we otherwise might not have the opportunity to experience, or at least experience with such ease.

As for the mobile phone and email, I find them both to be essential. If I want a little peace, I turn off the former and don't open the latter.
