hi is anyone doing a classroom assistant course and working on a placement in a school started doing this in september went on course for 3 weeks then the written course got cancelled because they needed 9 people or more and we only had 4
they re starting it again after half term and making it a free course to intise more people to join really enjoying helping out at school and would like to carry on its for a level 2 is this the same as a teaching assistants level 2 as a classroom assistant has to have a teacher present there does nt seem to be many jobs as a classroom assistant im also doing a maths course i m on benefits just trying to find a job but with two children want something so i can take kids to school and like working with children is anyone in same position ? thanks

I dont know much about the course but I have a friend in Lincolnshire who is doing the same thing, she wants to get off benefits and have a job but wants it to be in school hours ect, its especially useful as her daughter is diabetic so it means she can keep an eye on her. Good luck to you!
