*_ash_*   88 #10 Posted October 20, 2007 Just out of interest what do paper boys and lasses get paid these days?  I used to have a morning round, an evening round, and 2 sunday rounds. I think I got £2.50 a week for morning round. £2.75 for evening round (which needed a bike), and £1 each for Sunday rounds. (I get more an hour now than I got a week as a kid:hihi:)
 Share this content via...

It was only a small round though. Â And you're 19!! My god man/woman, tha't been robbed! Â Mine was 20 years ago. (:gag:that's sounds like I'm old) Â Actually funny the things that you remember. The reason I did 2 Sunday rounds was because carrying 20 papers in those paperboy bags meant I would topple over off my bike with one bag, so I did 2 rounds to counter balance, and carry one bag over each shoulder. Bloody crippled thanks to that.:hihi:
 Share this content via...
