I suppose this could be circumvented by an option to turn avatars off, but I think this was discussed before. Wilf vidster 20-01-2005, 20:21 Every image/Avatar takes up bandwith. This bandwith needs to be paid for by Geoff, hence the limits on the Avatar's. My Avatar was 12 KB but the limit is 7KB so i had a friend edit it to the right KB. It would be nice if we were able to use a url to our Avatars. I THINK this would remove the bandwith issues? But wouldn't that url then use the bandwith on the other persons site ? They are image hosting sites and they take the image directly off your pc.
