Anyone know of a good boozer for the Rugby World Cup final in Sheffield? anywhere except in the centre of town - a nice pub preferably we'd like and not some chain bar

Foxwoods always good for sport, big screen tvs and good atmosphere, suppose it depends where bouts ur from!!

where is it? I'm based near Ecclesall Road but don't want to end up in some generic theme bar which most of them seem to be on that road...

The Nursery Tavern on Ecclessall Road will have the big screen in the beer garden and the heaters on. (As well as 3 big screens inside)

Are you sure? Kelham Island Tavern won CAMRA pub of the year. 19th year running by who? And it is a punch tenancy pub, they pay more than £1 for a pint as their cost! Not saying its not true but i would be VERY surprised if beer was £1. If it is a £1 a pint ill have 22 gallons of carling and take it home!

i dont know where to watch the rugby. everywhere will be rammed.

Great atmosphere for footy finals, should be the same for the Rugby.

Caught the final in 2 places - Rawson and then moved onto Ball in crookes - both great places with top atmoshpere
