its a very poor storyline, dennis, catches them in bed together and buggers off to find sharon.

Eastenders just keep on with these crap storys. The saddest thing is this probably really goes on!! Urgh! Give me Corrie any day, its got humour, Eastenders doesnt know the meaning of the word.

If I was the script writer, I'd write it that in the future it will turn out that Dirty Den has had a vestectomy (a few years ago)! How funny would that be when Zoe finds out!!!!

Maybe the storyline is heading that way coz Chrissie is on about having a baby.

That will probably happen. Rumor has it... Den gets murdered by Zoe, Crissie and Sam. The 'FUNNY' part is, they bury him under the Queen Vic.

'Dirty Den' a.k.a Leslie Grantham was born on 30th April 1947 in Camberwell, and soon became a national favourite on Eastenders, despite the fact that the actor had served time for murder in the 1960's. It is well documented that Leslie was found guilty of murdering a German taxi driver while on National Service with the army, for which he served 11 years. Anyone wanting proof that the character of "Dirty" Den Watts is a twisted psycho only has to look at the Zoe/Den storyline.

How any man could be believed to be chasing after a character played by Michelle Ryan when he's married to one played by Tracy Ann Oberman is beyond me!

I used to watch Eastenders and Corrie ALL the time a few years ago. Now whenever I turn it on nothing seems to have changed, everyone is still depressed, people are still sleeping around, others are killing themselves or others and Pat Butcher is still trying to enlarge her ears!! :heyhey:

They have the worse scripts ever and guaranteed someone will always die 'unexpectedly' at xmas. If I was one of these characters I'd just kill myself due to depression coz it's always soooo sad... no-one ever heard of happy endings!? or maybe a bit of bliss every now and again... :confused:

I often wonder if Soap Operas are some form of social control ala "1984" whereby the masses are fed monotonous ****e week in and week out that never really changes or move on, a narrative that fails to educate, edify or inspire in order to convince us that there is nothing more to life than toil, suffering and a poxy local where everyone washes their dirty laundry in public...I really should stop watching!

I think the den and zoe thing is so sick!!! However i dont know y eastenders is the only soap getting slagged down these days!!! i feel that both emmerdale and corrie r just the same with stupid storylines such as Craig and Rosie becoming Goths and Chloe pretending to be pregnant in emmerdale. Besides at least eastenders finishes a storyline properly unlike corrie who never really told us about what happened to Linda and emmerdale who is not mentioning anything about Debbir being pregnant!!!
