Has anyone been to this?
I went today and what a load of crap!
They charge you £9.95 to get in and it's basically a big warehouse with loads of crummy exhibits and two rubbish rockets - bah!
Not been there but I had the same opinion of the Magna centre when I went. Half of the hands-on exhibits were faulty and kids were just crammed round the computer screens. I never went to the National Centre for Music in Sheffield but it sounded like a similar kind of "experience".
In contrast, I visited Kelham Island the other week and thought it was an excellent place. I think I'll avoid "visitor attractions" in the future and stick to good, old fashioned museums.

National Space Centre in Leicester! Oh, dear. How an anyone take that seriously.
Some visitng American is bound to go in and I bet it suits their sense of humour.
They should have built an Ethnic Culture attraction there instead - It would be well attended as a lot of ethnic minorities and asians in Leicester.
